TEAM USA - SPECIAL OLYMPICS SUMMER WORLD GAMES

The TEAM USA cycling contingent – eleven riders total – just returned...

TEAM USA won a total of 8 Gold Medals, 8 SilverMedals and 8 Bronze Medals in every distance and discipline. The events ranged from a 500 meter time trial to a 40 kilometer road race.

In October or 2007, Team USA sent 12 cyclists to represent the United States in Shanghai, China to compete in the Special Olympics WorldSummer Games.

The world games hosted over 7,500 athletes from 146 countries...

Special Olympics strives to promote pride, independence, self esteem, respect and teamwork. We could not have done this as well without the caring support and generosity of Pactimo.
