How to nominate an organization:

There are two way to make nominations for Pactimo's 10in10 campaign. Before you nominate an organization, please make sure they are qualified to participate.

1) Upload an essay between 150-250 words about your favorite non-profit group. Though not required, we appreciate the inclusion of 2-3 photos of the group's activity and especially your personal involvement.

OR,

2) Upload a video clip (no longer than 90 seconds) telling us why you think your nomination should be selected.

In either case, please make sure to include your nominee's website and contact information. We need to receive all entries by end of day February 15, 2013.

Who qualifies:

In the US: To qualify, a nominated organization must be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. This helps us to screen for those that have met a threshold definition of a charitable organization. Please confirm your nominee's status before you submit a nomination.

In the UK: To qualify, a nominated organization must be an officially registered charity in the UK with a charity registration number. This helps us screen for those that have met a threshold definition of a charitable organization. Please confirm your nominee's status before you submit a nomination.

Although there are many incredible organizations to support, we will only be able to select organizations officially established in the US or UK for the 10 in 10 campaign. Their work, of course, can be anywhere in the world.

While not a requirement, 10 in 10 selection will prioritize organizations with a direct impact on people's daily welfare, including but not limited to challenges in health, education, nutrition, housing and disaster relief.

Please note that all selections are ultimately made at Pactimo's complete discretion. If a beneficiary's circumstances change during the period of the campaign, Pactimo reserves the right to substitute another non-profit beneficiary at its discretion.
